Tina Walsh

Tina M. Walsh was born in Wurtsboro, New York on March 5, 1969, and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1998. She graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree (magna cum laude) and from Loyola University School of Law in 1998.

She was the recipient of the Henry L. Sarpy and David Herman Awards for excellence i n Louisiana Probate and Successions. During law school, Ms. Walsh clerked for the Bureau of Revenue of the City of New Orleans and with the Estate and Gift Tax Division of the Internal Revenue Service. She is the co-author of "The Trustee's Role: It's Not What You Think", 42 Employee Benefit Issues 2000 216 and was a speaker at the 2001 Essentials of Public Sector Benefits Administration seminar presented by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.

She is a member of the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys and the New Orleans and Louisiana State Bar Associations. The focus of Ms. Walsh's practice is the areas of business transactions, estate planning and taxation, successions and public pension plans.
